Jaisalmer Fort

This fort is situated on Meru hill and regarded as one of the largest fortifications in the world. Jaisalmer Fort is also called as “Sonar Qila” & “Golden Fort”. It was built in 1156 A.D. by the Rajput ruler Rawal Jaisal. This fort is built in yellow sandstone and also represents Rajasthani art & architecture. The major attractions inside this fort are : the Laxminath temple, Jain temples and Raj Mahal (Royal palace).

Patwon-Ki-Haveli

This haveli was built in the 18th century by a famous trader Guman Chand. Patwon-Ki-Haveli is a five-storied and made up of yellow sandstone. This haveli is one of the biggest havelis in Rajasthan and many tourists come here from different countries every year.

Bada Bagh

This garden complex was built in 1743 by Lunkaran, son of Maharaja Jai Singh II. Also called as Barabagh, this memorial comprised of various royal cenotaphs of Maharajas of Jaisalmer and offers great view during sunrise as well as the sunset.

Sam Sand Dunes

It is located 40 km away from Jaisalmer and an ideal location for a desert safari. The tourists can enjoy jeep safari as well as camel safari in Sam Sand Dunes.
