Elephanta Island

This island is maintained by the Archaeological survey of India (ASI) and listed as UNESCO World Heritage Site. Elephanta Island is well-known for cave temple that has carved out of the rock. It can be easily reached by taking a ferry from Gateway of India. This place features a Hindu Cave and also acknowledged for bygone civilization.

Prince of Wales Museum

This museum overlooks the Arabian sea and also known as Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Vastu Sangrahalaya. Prince of Wales Museum is a wonderful fusion of western Indian & Indo-saracenic style of architecture. It has a Jain style of the interior on the balconies, railings and columns.

Gateway of India

It is one of the famous landmarks in Mumbai and was built in 1924 to honor the visit of Queen Mary and King George V. This stone archway is wonderfully designed in Indo-Saracenic style and comprises of intricate latticework and four turrets. Gateway of India overlooks the Mumbai harbor and is bordered by the Arabian Sea.

Bandra Fort
